The License Center offers walk-in service for ALL transactions (except knowledge testing) during normal business hours if an appointment is not available for your time frame. The office has a standby process at the end of the business day and that start time is determined by the customer volume for that day. The tab line is also subject to our standby process.
An appointment may not eliminate all wait times. We will help you as soon as possible.
If you do not have the required documentation to complete your transaction you will be asked to reschedule for another appointment.
The Roseville License Center provides written Class D Knowledge testing only, we do not testing for CDL, motorcycle or do any road testing. Please visit www.dps.mn.gov under Divisions click Driver and Vehicle Services to locate a list of state exam stations to schedule your road test.
A Registration Renewal drop box is located in front of the License Center (24/7) for vehicle and DNR renewals. We also have a tab only line for vehicle renewals.
Please be sure to save your confirmation email. Any modifications or cancellations will be done through that email.
